Email Clients and SMTP Settings


Below are the necessary connection settings for any 3rd party email client.


Mail Client Settings for SSL (preferred)
Incoming Server Settings (for SSL):

Server name: mail.carrierzone.com
SSL: Enabled/Checked


Port: 995 (if using POP3)
Port: 993 (if using IMAP)
Outgoing Server Settings (for SSL):

Server name: mail.carrierzone.com
SSL: Enabled/Checked
SMTP Authentication: Enabled


Port depends on TLS version:
SSL/TLS = port 465
SSL/STARTTLS = port 587

Email clients must support at least TLS version 1.2 to function on this platform.

Outgoing Server requires Authentication

Mail Client Settings without SSL
Incoming Server Settings (No SSL):

Server name: mail.carrierzone.com
SSL: Disabled/Unchecked

Port: 110 (if using POP3)
Port: 143 (if using IMAP)
Outgoing Server Settings (No SSL):

Server name: mail.carrierzone.com
SSL: Disabled/Unchecked
SMTP Authentication: Enabled

Port: 25 or 1025. Try port 25 first.
(ISPs may block port 25)

Outgoing Server requires Authentication
